Saving Our Stitches - Fixing Knitting Mistakes

This class is for people looking to improve their knitting skills through fixing various types of knitting problems and stitch mistakes. Come learn how to change a purl to a knit and back again, pick up a dropped stitch, and fix stitches that are wrong rows below your current one. Learn how to cinch holes, correct stitch counts, and everything in between.

All classes and lessons must be purchased online.

Prerequisites:  

• Cast on
• Knit stitch
• Purl stitch

Skills Learned:

• Changing a purl to a knit, and a knit to a purl
• Fixing stitch counts by making one or reducing stitches
• Pulling up dropped stitches
• Changing stitch orientation on your needles
• Picking up stitches
• Using a crochet hook to fix stitches
• Using a lifeline
  

Materials Required:

• 1 skein worsted weight superwash wool yarn, recommend a light color 
• 5.0 mm straight needles or 16” circular 5.0 mm needles
• A small crochet hook
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Class Policies:  All class materials must be purchased from Warm 'n Fuzzy. For class cancellations: if cancellation is made outside of 48 hours of class start time, you will be provided with a store credit to be used on any future purchase with the shop. There will be no refunds on cancellations made within 48 hours of class start time. Warm 'n Fuzzy reserves the right to cancel any classes if less than 3 students sign up within 24 hours of the start time. If the class is canceled by Warm 'n Fuzzy, you will be refunded.
